What measurements do I need when sizing a Lift Chair Recliner?

When purchasing a lift chair recliner, it’s important to know which you’ll need.  4 quick measurements can help you discover the perfect fit:

Lift Chair Specials

A. Seat Height from the floor - Standard, Deluxe, Heavy Duty and Tall lift chair seats range from 19" to 21" from the floor, while Petite lift chair seats are 17' -18" from the floor.

B. Seat Back Height - A helpful measurement if you require a Tall or Full Sleeper lift chair.

C. Seat Width – This is the amount of room between the arms of the lift chair recliner. The proper way to measure for seat width is to sit in dining room chair and measure from hip to hip.

D. Seat Depth - This is the length between the back of the lift chair recliner and the front of the seat. The proper way to measure for seat depth is to sit in a dining room chair and measure from the back of your knee along your leg and rear.

P/Petite under 5' 3" very small build - S/Small under 5' 3" avg. build - M/Medium 5' 4" to 6' avg. build - L/Large 5' 9" to 6' 1" large build
